we refer to the article published on your newspaper on April 30, p. 16, entitled "Lambertow awarded by the Japanese." In that it reads "Lambertow scoops yet support among Japanese Japs."
E 'welcome the attention paid to the honor of providing news to Senator Dini by Japan. However, we believe that the expression used to identify, or "gooks," has a derogatory connotation and very negative. We report that the expression would not even be necessary in the context, so its use is totally free. Furthermore, this expression does not seem so rough consonant or on the height of a newspaper like yours, with a national circulation and its tradition of Italian journalism.
Therefore, we request an explanation as soon as possible in order to rectify the expression "Japanese Japs" as appeared in your newspaper.

Il cataclisma finanziario, la crisi pubblicitaria, l’adattamento all’universo digitale e i licenziamenti dei giornalisti sono temi comuni a tutti i giornali del mondo.

Se non parlassimo dell’Italia tutto questo affanno sarebbe inverosimile, degno al massimo di un articolo scandalistico. Ma tutte le fonti sono concordi nel segnalare che si tratta di “manovre serie e reali” il cui effetto causerà “un terremoto”.
Il malcontento del Governo nei confronti di un altro giornale, La Stampa di Torino, proprietà della Fiat è palese. Secondo l’entourage berlusconiano, il suo direttore Giulio Anselmi sarà tentato con un’altra importante poltrona: quella di presidente dell’agenzia ufficiale Ansa . Se dovesse accettare, prenderebbe il suo posto un direttore meno ostile al Governo.
Mentre questo disegno politico prende corpo, i media italiani cercano, per quanto possibile, di tener testa a questa tempesta. Il presidente del RCS Piergaetano Marchetti , che ha visto nel 2008 scendere i profitti del gruppo a 38 milioni di euro rispetto ai 220 milioni del 2007, ha confermato che stanno soffrendo “tagli pubblicitari feroci ed immediati”.
E il suo amministratore delegato ha annunciato che l’andamento del gruppo dei primi mesi dell’anno obbligherà a “una riduzione del personale”. “Bisogna agire sui costi e sui modelli economici in Italia e all’estero”.
