Domenica 6 marzo si è svolta a Roma, presso la Federazione romana del PRC la Riunione nazionale di area Sinistra Comunista alla quale ha partecipato A small delegation of our club along with fellow Pasquale D'Angelo.
The meeting was an interesting time for political debate for the actions registered and proposals about the ambiguities and contradictions within the Party and its future prospects.
Comrade Targetti, opening the debate, tried to sum up, in a sort of budget the last two years, those who are the main points of the policy document:
- Lack of representation of movements by PRC;
- The issue of "government" meant as shorthand for the political survival of the Party;
- The question of "duplicity" of the Party;
- Subordination of the construction project at the Federation of the Left Vendola;
- Construction of the Federation of the Left as a process imposed from above;
- The question of the relation-movement institutions: the problem of representativeness of the movements in the light of institutional alliances with PD which actually goes against those same movements;
- Location of social and political opposition;
- Question Board: PRC failed in an attempt to steer the activities of the struggles of her companions and comrades in the trade union militancy;
- The contrast between the question of democratic and social issue.
To these considerations, the following by the companions and friends, several proposals converge on two main objectives, namely how to tackle the identity crisis of the Left in Italy today and the issue of overcoming the Communist Refoundation in a political project is not yet well defined as that of the Federation Left:
- Keep open the political contradictions within the Party miniscissioni avoiding maneuvers or tactics (see the appeal of the companions of Ernesto)
- Keep as much as possible the various experiences related to combat. The main task of our Party is to be able to speak to the many comrades who are still struggling and are present in the territories;
- Conservation of resources available within the Party;
- "Look around: Try to regroup the other forces of the Left through a process of regrouping and starting from the bottom right of confrontation by the different local situations (comparison with the common reality and anti-communist);
- focus the work program on social conflicts.
Finally one of the conclusions should be mentioned the following proposals:
- Reconstruction of an alternative proposal to the PRC through the regrouping of the Communist forces on the basis of the question of social struggle;
- Need to ask "the account of the construction Federation of the Left;
- Expressing strong criticism of political opportunism and the government;
- to distance themselves from fellow Pegolo;
- Organize a meeting with Secretary of PRC Paolo Ferrero to rebuild a critical position as compared to the current policy of the secretariat;
- Check the territories , local expertise inside and outside the Party (see the meeting in Livorno on 29 January 2011);
- Comparison with other unions on the basis of program points as the net reduction in working hours and lack of profit;
- Participation in the referendum campaign for the common good water;
- A better question is how to develop the areas for discussion and action dialectical analysis of policy proposals (on Reflection Area, Dialectic, Democracy and political debate).

The big event of October 16, the general strike on January 28 and the various movements that are fighting against the government of the rights, re-propose the need to rebuild an anti-capitalist left in our country, explicitly and consistently oriented alternative of society and, as such, can be political reference for the social subjects that animate the opposition to Berlusconi and the free, independent and alternative also a left to the center.
The Federation of the Left, for addresses and assets that are leading to ever more explicit inclination to pursue, through forcing the forthcoming Congress of the PRC, the mere unification of elites PRC-PdCI, foreshadows the without the exhaustion of refounding process and a substantial subordination to the project Vendola that the field of organic relationship with the center, is stronger and more attractive.
The liquidation of the PRC substantially complement the process already in place for some time, namely the distortion of the final left turn determined by the Congress of Chianciano, who had raised the timeliness of the process of Communist Refoundation, as an essential way to build a real alternative to capitalism, both to his old balances to "new", which has undertaken to determine in the world.
In daily practice, even before the documents, this decline has taken shape in unfair and illegitimate way, even without going through a new Congress of the PRC, with an objective "transfer of sovereignty" against the Federation itself. All this is generating dissension, confusion and even disengagement from many fellow s
the substance of policy choices, ambiguities and contradictions abound on central issues such as the alternative system, the relationship with the PD and the center-left government and increasingly characterized by institutional arrangements, the presence in social conflicts, the union question, the European context, the autonomy and the role of our party, all that weighs in the absence of a Common ground work in society and on the contents of homogeneity among the forces making up the Federation.
For this, the same federal process is characterized so prevalent as current "political class", with no real involvement from the bottom, run times and fast-track procedures with the aim of pursuing a simple electoral agreement with the PD, in view of possible early elections ..
Without the necessary clarity on the prospects and the consistency of policy choices, is likely to be little possibility of any credible electoral alliance, as the issue of democracy can not be separated from social issues, from the rights and dignity of work (see in particular the blackmail Fiat's Mirafiori and Pomigliano).
Faced with the obvious forcing made by the management team, we are not resigned to the current drift of the party and for this we must express a clear disagreement with the line of the national secretariat, the circles to the CPN, reconstructing a proposed alternative policy, in the forthcoming congress of autumn 2011. This means first
to distance themselves from the tactics exasperated expressed by Comrade Pegolo, sidelined for months to address the obvious differences that emerged in the Communist Left, and then later reopen the discussion on content, without sectarianism with all the critical areas in the party.
addition to keep open the political contradiction in the PRC and to cope with the experience of the Communist Left, we propose that our commitment in this situation at once difficult and interesting, and knows how to compete with the struggles with what happens in society to reconstruct a conflict in vivo anti-capitalist left, independent, alternative to the center, capable of coordinating the various social and political realities in un concreto fronte di resistenza alla crisi (vedi iniziativa nazionale del 26 febbraio a Roma, possibili articolazioni territoriali, le esperienze di “uniti contro la crisi”, la lotta alla precarietà, le vertenze ambientali e per i beni comuni..).
Occorre riprendere il confronto ed il lavoro comune sulla questione della rifondazione e della riaggregazione di forze comuniste con tutte le realtà e le esperienze disponibili, presenti nei territori, senza scorciatoie organizzative, miniscissioni o manovre tattiche (come l’appello dell’Ernesto) che non condividiamo, ma affrontando i nodi politici e teorici tuttora irrisolti (programma di fase, radicamento sociale, governismo, ceti politici, istituzioni..) thereby providing a useful contribution to the potential arising from the meeting in Livorno on 29 January.
